My name is Suzanne, and I reside in Bartlett, TN, a suburb of Memphis. I’ve been happily married to my soulmate for many years (but I’ll keep the exact number a secret, lol). We’re proud parents of three grown children and have three beautiful grandchildren who bring us immense joy. Now that we are empty nesters and retired, we share our home with a furry companion who will turn five in June 2025.
Since retiring, I have developed a passion for reading, particularly in my favorite genres: cozy mysteries and romance, which inspired the name of my blog, “CozyRom.” While I enjoy exploring other genres, most of my book reviews will focus on these favorites, with occasional forays into different themes.
Understanding the importance of book reviews for authors, I started this blog to share my thoughts on the books I read. I follow several of my favorite authors and have come to appreciate how vital reviews are for their success. You don’t need a blog to contribute; you can leave reviews on platforms like Amazon, Goodreads, or any site where you purchase your books.
In addition to reading, I love taking road trips in our 2006 Corvette, traveling, staying fit, swimming, and enjoying wine and coffee—always while spending quality time with my family.

Hey Suzanne! omg! This is so cool that you started this! As you probably know I’ve written two children’s books but never really went anywhere with them. The kids love them but I have no clue how to get them out there to be read. Maybe you could put them on your blog and see what people think. When it comes to the business world, I am clueless. Do you review children’s books?

Hi Kim, I do know that you have written children’s books. What age group are thy geared towards? My youngest
grandchild is almost 7 so not sure if she is in the right age bracket for your books. I just started this blog as a hobby because I read a lot. I have never reviewed children’s books but if you will tell me how to find your books, I would be happy ton to look at them and put them on my blog. I could also add them to my bookstagram if you wan’t.
I don’t really know how to publish a book but I do know some authors I read are self published so I am sure you could publish them yourself and put them on Amazon but I don’t know how to do that. I read, I am not a writer except for trying out this blog. 🙂
